Zoo’s orangutan enclosure shut after storm damage
Following a severe storm that swept through the area, the orangutan enclosure at our local zoo has been shut down due to extensive damage. The storm, which brought strong winds and heavy rain, caused significant damage to the enclosure’s structure, posing a risk to the safety of both the orangutans and visitors.
Zoo officials are currently assessing the extent of the damage and working on a plan to repair and reinforce the enclosure to ensure the safety and well-being of the orangutans. In the meantime, the orangutans have been temporarily relocated to a safe and secure area within the zoo.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to our visitors and are committed to resolving the issue as quickly as possible. Updates on the status of the orangutan enclosure will be posted on our website and social media channels.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support as we work to address this unfortunate situation.
